Pokrovsky Hills

A week or so ago Katherine and I received news of our future home in Moscow. We have been assigned a 3-bedroom townhouse in a community called Pokrovsky Hills. This was our first choice of housing and we are very excited about it. Living in Pokrovsky means a couple of things to us. First, it means Katherine will be able to set up an office out of one of the bedrooms and continue her meteoric career trajectory out of our home. And secondly, it means that we will be able to bring over the Mighty Tiger Cat Clifton. From the home base of our townhouse, Clifton will be able to expand his territory into the Pokrovsky community and further into the 250 acre park that is adjacent to the development. We expect him to terrorize the local fauna and drag home half-dead Russian mammals to us in tribute. Living in Pokrovsky also means that we'll have a grill on our back patio for summertime cookouts, and a cozy fire in our fireplace. Although Pokrovsky is in a wooded setting, it is only 8 miles (as the crow flies) to the Kremlin and downtown Moscow. My daily commute should be around 45 minutes each way. See the pictures attached.
